Ensure you select the correct registration category and provide a confirmation letter from your supervisor if registering as an MSc/PhD student.
Abstract Submission
We welcome abstract submissions on all aspects of spinal cord injury research, from fundamental science to clinical and applied studies.
📌 Submission Guidelines:

Abstracts must follow the official abstract layout.

The abstract should not exceed 250 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations).

The presenting author must be registered for the conference.

All submissions must be in English.

Abstracts will undergo a peer-review process, and acceptance will be based on scientific quality and relevance.

If you select oral communication and are not chosen for an oral presentation, your abstract will automatically be considered for a poster presentation.

All abstracts will be published in proceedings in the special issue 'Advances in Spinal Cord Injury – Insights from AIM-SCI 2025' of the Journal of Integrative Neuroscience after the Meeting.

Travel Grants Available ✈️💶
We are pleased to offer travel grants of 375€ each, which will be awarded to the authors of the best abstracts submitted to AIM-SCI 2025. The selected recipients will be announced two weeks after the abstract submission deadline.
These grants are generously sponsored by the journals Neurology International and Pharmaceuticals.
